Dear  KPI and Sikorsky Challenge colleagues.Ukraine!

Retrospectively reflecting back on the past two years, I was poignantly reminded of the saying "the good ol' days", what it really means and feels like, in relation to life before 2019, as opposed to afterwards and up till the present time.

Someone once said, "life is an end to end series of trials we all face (trialling this or that), trips we all make (to places one has never been to or goes to often), triumphs (the successes after the disappointments), big or small".  If such is the case, may 2022 contain more trials of new things to come with welcome endings, trips that once again can become more common without trepidation, added costs and some more triumphs for all the hard work one has cumulatively done to date. 

May 2022 be challenging in a good way, see all in better health than before and be more enjoyable than recent past years have been, and in the immortal words of Linus, at the end of the movie "Oceans 13", "See ya, when I see ya!"

I hope events in Ukraine don't escalate to the point of major conflict in winter in Donbas or Luhansk, or any other area of Ukraine or other seasons.   But if it does I hope you will be able to protect yourselves and loved ones from the worst aspects of any escalated conflict.  My Christmas wish to you is that you receive more security, more confidence in a peaceful future

and that peace delivers the rewards of a "normal" enjoyable life.
